Shell Mouse

“When Brett was about 6 or 7 Brett bought me a little mouse made from a shell.  He had very little money but he wanted to say thank you for a holiday. At such a young age Brett was so kind and thoughtful and never ever took going on holiday for granted.”

Anne lost her son, Sergeant Brett George Linley from 11 Explosive Ordnance Disposal Regiment, Royal Logistic Corps. Brett was killed in Afghanistan on Saturday 17 July 2010 in an explosion during a counter-IED operation in Helmand province. Linley is survived by his partner, Sgt Dominique Dudley, his parents Anne and George, brother Phillip and sister Georgina.
